TOOL

I haven’t ran into many TOOL fans where I am currently but on a recent trip to San Diego I met a couple of them and had nice conversations with them…then we Spiraled Out. In case you didn’t know, TOOL is my favorite band and if you’ve read my awakening story you’ll see that I was listening to Lateralus and Third Eye when I had my spontaneous Kundalini Awakening and Out of Body Experience. I thought I would share this because there is some truth to this and it’s funny too. ~ Mynzah 🌀

“Crazy” by Lucky Lenny with Mynzah on Cajon (Music and Video)

Last December I had gone to a music jam gathering of friends and fellow musicians with my partner who I play music with in a band called Sister and the Sun. While there, our friend Shawn of the band Lucky Lenny asked if I would be interested in playing cajon on one of the tracks they’re recording tomorrow. I agreed to do it and was honored he asked. The next morning I was mic’ed up at Mudshark Studios and recording for the first time. That’s the short story on how I ended up on this track. I love the whole album “Goin Home” by Lucky Lenny and perhaps you would too. I’ll leave links below for anyone interested in the album. Until then, here is the song I recorded with them and some pics of us in the studio making the recording. ~ Mynzah

Plutarch 62817

“To the Greeks, the supreme function of music was to “praise the gods and educate the youth”. In Egypt… Initiatory music was heard only in Temple rites because it carried the vibratory rhythms of other worlds and of a life beyond the mortal.” ~ Plutarch

Jiddu Krishnamurti 62617

“We want to be famous as a writer, as a poet, as a painter, as a politician, as a singer, or what you will. Why? Because we really don’t love what we are doing. If you loved to sing, or to paint, or to write poems, if you really loved it you would not be concerned with whether you are famous or not.” ~ Jiddu Krishnamurti
