Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because they seeth it not, neither knoweth it: but ye know it; for it dwelleth with you and shall be in you. At that day ye shall know that I Am in my Father and ye in me, and I in you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost (kundalini), whom the Father will send in my name (christ), shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you… ~ Christ (John 14:17, 20, 26)

Kundalini is often used to refer to the power of the Divine present in each person. She has two aspects. One maintains the entire existence of our body, mind and spirit. The other aspect, considered dormant, is the power of Consciousness to know the Divine in Its infinitude as Self. This potential power, innate to all of us, can propel our awareness from the paltry limitations of individual existence, with all its wants and needs and deficiencies, to Unity Consciousness – the sublime awareness of our Divine Self, infinite and all-encompassing. That source is within you and this whole world is springing up from it… ~ Rumi

As our spiritual knowledge grows, our identification with the individual body-mind diminishes and our consciousness expands into universal consciousness. The life force continuous to act but its thoughts and actions are no longer limited to an individual; they become the total manifestation.
