One of many stories of leaving the body and the Self continuing on in consciousness. Commonly referred to as an (NDE) Near Death Experience and an (OBE) Out of Body Experience. This has happened to me several times and perhaps it has to you as well or to someone that you know. And perhaps these stories will give you comfort and a reminder of your immortality. ~ Mynzah
A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe”, a part limited in time and space. One experiences themself, their thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of their consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. ~ Albert Einstein
I and my Father are one…. ~ Christ (John 10:30)
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world… ~ Christ (John 17:16)
The Pushpaka Vimana that resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother was brought by the powerful Ravana; that aerial and excellent Vimana going everywhere at will…that chariot resembling a bright cloud in the sky…and the King [Rama] got in, and the excellent chariot at the command of the Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere. ~ Ramayana (Hindu text)
From the point of view of Self-Realization or enlightenment, there are no individuals. The Self, or God, exists as all manifestation. As our spiritual knowledge grows, our identification with the individual body-mind diminishes and our consciousness expands into universal consciousness. The life force continuous to act but its thoughts and actions are no longer limited to an individual; they become the total manifestation.
